About Us
Intrepid USA Healthcare Services is a leading provider of comprehensive in-home nursing, therapy and hospice and private duty care services primarily for the adult and elderly patient markets.

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, service operations are conducted through 10 Hospice agencies and 76 licensed and Medicare certified agencies located in 21 states across the United States. 60% of the communities served are in rural settings with populations of less than 25,000. Patients are referred to the company by more than 5,700 referral sources predominately comprised of hospital discharge planners, physicians and assisted living facilities.

Intrepid USA averages a daily patient census of more than 8,500 patients and provides more than one million in-home visits each year. Reimbursement sources are comprised of government sponsored programs such as Medicare and Medicaid, commercial insurance plans and private pay by individual patients.

Innovation
In order to differentiate itself from the competition, Intrepid USA has recently focused its attention on further developing its clinical services offering and implementing technological innovations to lead the company to the next level.

The company has developed a comprehensive range of 15 clinical specialty programs, each designed for a specific clinical diagnosis. Each clinical program’s objective is to support and guide each patient through the clinical plan of care and increase the quality of care, while also improving efficiencies and helping manage clinical compliance across the organization.

In 2015, Intrepid has implemented Kinnser Software throughout the organization. The software evolves the company’s clinical practice procedures and improves the care delivery model by providing access to Point of Care information, Electronic Medical Records, Agency Automation and Care Coordination remotely and in real time.

The company will maintain its innovative approach as it moves forward and will continue to explore other technologies to help leverage performance or any other technological advances to manage acute and chronic illnesses.
